Poor bladder control

Whether it's only a short term or an ongoing problem, urinary incontinence is simply poor bladder control. A lot of people have poor bladder control at different times in their lives, but it is most common amongst older people. Women are also are more likely to have poor bladder control than men.

Poor bladder control can happen for lots of reasons. It may be a side effect from medicine you have taken or it may be a symptom of another problem that should be treated. In any case it is always worth talking to your doctor or continence advisor about any bladder control problem as soon as possible.

Poor bladder control may be just the occasional leak when you laugh or cough, or you may be suddenly unable to hold your urine at all. It important to seek help. Why live with an unpleasant condition that can often be dealt with easily?
