CAPS Transfer and Authority to Direct Payment Form

Important Information about CAPS:

  • The CAPS payment will be made into a client's nominated account between 5 July to 15 July 2010.
  • People who joined as CAAS clients between April 2010 and June 2010 will receive their CAPS transfer and authority to direct payment form from Medicare Australia late August 2010.
  • All clients who were eligible CAAS clients prior to 1 July 2010 will receive a payment of up to $497.79 for 2010-11.
  • CAAS clients whose CAPS transfer form has been delayed in being completed and returned to Medicare Australia either prior to 1 July 2010 or after will still receive up to $497.79 for 2010-11, once the CAPS transfer form has been processed.
  • For information about your CAPS transfer/transfer and authority to direct form, CAPS application form's progress or the CAPS payment call Medicare Australia on 132 011 (select option1)
